WHAT IS TOUCH THERAPY (CANCER) AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Cancer Touch Therapy
A treatment for everyone, but specifically designed to offer anyone living with or has had cancer, a safe, extremely relaxing therapy treatment without the need for GP or Consultant referral.
I am very privileged and honoured to announce that I am now an Advanced Cancer Touch Therapist.
A Touch Therapy treatment is extremely beneficial for everyone and is designed to encourage the brain into an Alpha-Theta state of being – a deeply relaxed state akin to meditation.
This allows the mind to totally disconnect from daily stress and anxiety, and the body is then able to access the parasympathetic state:
• Heart rate slows, breathing slows and deepens, which allows rejuvenation on all levels
• It gives a natural boost to immunity
• Relieves tight muscles by gently soothing nerves
• Lowers cortisol and adrenaline levels

The Made For Life Foundation, which is a registered charity, was founded in 2010 to help people living with cancer gain access to wellbeing support. Amanda Winwood, the founder of the charity and Made For Life Organics, worked and extensively researched along with advisors from MacMillan, the oncology team at The Royal Cornwall Hospital, and The Mermaid Breast Cancer unit in Cornwall. This led to the development of an accredited, endorsed and globally insured Cancer Touch Therapy training course.
